Failure is a term often deemed frightening by managers. Through understanding failure, its causes and the behaviours of those who cause it, Jan believes managers will be better equipped to deal with failure, when things go wrong.

Jan FilochowskiChief Executive of Great Ormond Street Hospital has 20 year’s experience as a chief executive of six hospital and healthcare organisations, and a renowned and well-respected turn around specialist.

At this event, Jan will provide practical advice for managers to help identify patterns and warning signs which lead towards failure, how to address problems which arise, and most importantly avoid them. Drawing on his many years of experience, he will explore essential skills for managers which will enable them to succeed in their role. He will also address the importance of organisational culture in adapting to new ways of thinking surrounding failure and highlight managerial techniques which should be adopted from the top down to ensure successful management and see ‘failure’ as a learning experience.

All delegates will receive a free copy of Jan’s new book ‘Too Good To Fail?: Why Management Gets it Wrong and How You Can Get it Right’ to aid further study of the discussion and topics raised at the event.
