A new national training programme now provides the opportunity for midwives, health visitors and practice nurses to also gain a letter of competence in the insertion and removal of contraception implants and intra-uterine devices under the Faculty of Sexual Health Reproductive Healthcare as well as gain a transferable qualification in Sexual & Reproductive Health. The company have agreed to sponsor a study day at this University and will inform delegates about new innovations for practice, including the new on line module and the chance to become a qualified and certified contraceptive implant or coil fitter as part of the Midwifery role.
