This conference will bring officials and policymakers together with key stakeholders - including local authorities, social care providers, NHS providers, service user groups and voluntary organisations - to discuss the delivery and funding of social care in England.

Delegates will consider the impact of the Care Act, which will place new responsibilities on local authorities including the integration of care and support with health services. Delegates will also discuss the NAO report which is due out this summer and the impact of the related Better Care Fund on local authority care assessments, support services and value for money.

It will also be an opportunity to assess the potential for integration of social care with health, housing and other services; what more can be done to deliver personalised care and next steps for developing the social care workforce.
