This seminar will be a timely opportunity to assess the early impact of the devolved health and social care budget on primary care in Greater Manchester.

It will bring together policymakers involved in the devolution programme with key stakeholders including primary healthcare and allied professionals, health consumer organisations, trade unions, local government, representatives of healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, academics, interested and affected charities and user groups, and representatives of the trade and national press.

With Healthier Together reviewing primary care services in Greater Manchester before the £6bn budget for health and social care services is devolved from April 2016, delegates will consider next steps for increasing access to services, priorities for treating patients with long-term conditions, and the developing role of information technology to support integrated service delivery.
