When conducting clinical research we must be aware of the laws and regulations that control our actions, but equally we must be aware of the ethics of research.  Breaches of ethics have in the past led to the formulation of many of the regulations that now control research.  But, what makes something right or wrong?  How are ethical decisions made?  What do Research Ethics Committees think about when evaluating a project?  How do we ensure our research practice is of the highest standard.

This half-day workshop will explore these questions and give participants an opportunity to review their own research practices consisting of a series of short, interactive lectures, interspersed with practical exercises and structured discussion sessions.
