This year we are delighted to welcome our first international speaker, American author, journalist and patient advocate Suzanne Gordon.

Suzanne has written extensively on the subject of nursing in the United States and is the author of ‘When Chicken Soup Isn’t Enough’ and ‘From Silence to Voice: What Nurses Know and Must Communicate to the Public.’ Suzanne will be delivering keynote speeches on both days of the Conference and her approach helps inform the theme of the Conference. She is passionate about the work of nurses and encouraging them to articulate the growing importance and complexity of their role with patients and the public.
