Scheduled just ahead of May's National Assembly elections, this conference provides a timely opportunity to discuss the priorities which policymakers should focus on when setting out plans for the future of health and social care policy in Wales.

At this early stage spokespeople representing Plaid Cymru, the Welsh Conservatives and Welsh Liberal Democrats have already agreed to make keynote contributions setting out their party’s respective proposals for reform - and delegates will have the opportunity to pose questions and discuss these plans.

The conference will also bring together key stakeholder perspectives on the main challenges currently facing the delivery of health and social care across Wales. We expect delegates to include Local Health Boards, health professionals, local authorities, private sector and third sector providers of health and care services, patient representatives and charities focused on specific health conditions or patient groups and academics working in these fields.
