This FREE event will feature a number of prominent national and international speakers on infection prevention and control who will cover a wide range of topics.


The programme has been designed to be of interest to all healthcare workers in secondary and primary care who have an interest in protecting patients from avoidable infection, staff working in social care supporting patients with long-term health needs, Infection Prevention Practitioners, including microbiology and pharmacy, Link Nurses and Domestic and Housekeeping staff.

We want to encourage you to share your experiences and knowledge with your fellow colleagues by means of an oral presentation or poster display.


Oral presentation

There will be the opportunity to be considered as a speaker on the conference programme, we have space for 3 oral presentations and would encourage you to submit an abstract for consideration. To be considered for an oral presentation we will require you to submit an abstract which will be adjudicated.


Poster Display

We hope you will consider bringing a poster to the conference detailing great work or a project yourself or your organisation has undertaken. Unlike oral presentations everyone who indicates they will bring a poster will be automatically permitted to do so. These posters do not have to be professionally printed or designed, if required, we can print one A3 poster free of charge. Professionally printed posters of other sizes will be accepted.
