Bringing together stakeholders and policymakers, this seminar will be an opportunity to consider priorities for health and social care commissioning in England.

Delegates will assess challenges for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), regional area teams and local authorities in delivering the seven objectives set out in the Government’s mandate to NHS England for 2016-17, including the establishment of a new CCG assessment framework.

Further planned sessions focus on the next steps for co-commissioning and personalised commissioning, lessons learnt from NHS vanguard sites, and the future for commissioning support services.

We are delighted to include at this seminar keynote addresses from Dr Julia Simon, Programme Director, Co-Commissioning of Primary Care, Head of Commissioning Policy Unit, NHS England; Bob Ricketts, Director of Commissioning Support Services Strategy, NHS England; Paul Farmer, Chief Executive, Mind and Chair, Mental Health Taskforce, NHS England; Dr Jonathan Fielden, Director of Specialised Commissioning and Deputy National Medical Director, NHS England; Andrew McCracken, Head of Communications, National Voices; Dr Tim Moorhead, Chair, NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group and Chair, Core Cities Network, NHS Clinical Commissioners and Jamie Sutterby, Assistant Director – Health Integration, NHS East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Hertfordshire County Council.
