The purpose of negotiation is not to close deals but to make the best possible agreement based on mutual trust and understanding.

This workshop, led by a seasoned negotiator with public and private sector experience, is for those responsible for negotiating contracts for healthcare services.

The workshop will help you achieve:

• Increased effectiveness and commitment with your negotiating partners
• Faster decision-making and implementation, as trust develops
• More creative and satisfying results
• Significantly increased possibilities to save money
• Breakthroughs in the face of intransigence
• Mutually beneficial, sustainable relationships that work well with differences.

Course leader Marjatta van Boeschoten brings real-world negotiation skills and experience to this course for NHS commissioners and providers. Her approach combines teaching the art and science of negotiation together with practical tools and advice to help prepare and plan effectively.

Delegates to Marjatta's previous courses said:

• "I came away with many practical tools that I have been immediately able to utilise."
• "Great speaker who really held my concentration throughout the whole day."
• "Really good training. I will strongly recommend to colleagues."

Places are strictly limited to 12 delegates per course
