The NHS is changing rapidly, in order to be effective and efficient managers have to be on top of their game and have an in depth understanding of the NHS and the Governments future plans for it. It is a challenging time and acquiring the skills and qualities necessary to be successful either inside or out of the NHS is essential. This one off inspirational workshop is specifically aimed at members of staff that are currently underrepresented at the most senior levels of the NHS (colleagues at AfC band 7 or above or clinical equivalent).

 Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) staff

 Women

 People with disabilities

 Clinicians

The UK economy is overextended and the next few years are going to witness a “perfect storm” as unemployment increases, job opportunities become scarce and ever more school and university leavers come into the labour market. The NHS is charged with reducing its numbers and its costs. For many this will present an entirely unwanted shock and a daunting challenge.

The workshop will be filmed so that you can be sent a copy afterwards as a record, with the facilitator available for comment on line after the workshop.

In addition to the application and ethnic monitoring form, could you please email your current CV together with a note on your worst fear/s and greatest need/s. Please note that this information will be sent to the facilitator in advance of the session.
