Introduction to Urology Study Day

The British Association of Urological Nurses (BAUN) is hosting an Introduction to Urology Study Day on Monday 16th November 2015 in Brighton.

The programme is running simultaneously to this year's annual conference and is aimed at junior nurses, healthcare assistants, care home staff, student nurses and healthcare workers that have an interest in urology.

The Programme:

  • Common male urological conditions and their treatment: Speaker TBC
  • Common female urological conditions and their treatment: Miss Tamsin Greenwell
  • Catheter complications and how to avoid them: Jane Brocksom
  • Urostomy care: Sue Fell
  • Urological investigations: Vanessa Basketter
  • Drugs used in urological care: Anne Storey
  • Treatment management of patients with renal, ureteric and bladder calculi: Speaker TBC

In addition to a comprehensive programme, there is also access to an extensive exhibition which will feature over 50 companies offering new innovative products and practical solutions.
