With the NHS under increased pressure, the role of Health Trainers has never been more important.  This event, developed in partnership with Enfield and Haringey Health Trainer service, will provide a unique networking and learning opportunity for health trainers and an opportunity to discuss the future needs of the service.

The conference will focus on:

•       Commissioning for wellbeing outcomes

•       Recording interventions

•       The concept of healthy conversations

•       Dealing with difficult clients

•       Contract demand changes around health checking

•       Local versus national performance

This conference will give delegates the opportunity to hear examples of innovation, best practice and, perhaps most importantly, honest accounts of what hasn’t worked. Bringing together Health Trainers from all areas of England, this event will provide delegates with opportunities to share their views on the future training and support needs of service providers and discuss how the service can best improve health and wellbeing locally.

We have an excellent programme of speakers with plenty of opportunity for sharing of experience and discussion including:

Chaired by Graham Rushbrook, Development Adviser and lead assessor RSPH

Shirley Cramer CBE, Chief Executive, RSPH

Shahed Ahmad, Director of Public Health, London Borough of Enfield
