The FREE course lasts 2h and consists of a short presentation, with three short workshop sessions.  The workshops encourage examination of a number of real-life research scenarios to help explore the ethical, legal and practical aspects of handling health-related findings in a research context.

Printed handouts of the presentation, and copies of the scenarios will be provided.  Attendees will also receive a short list of useful web resources.

All attendees (who sign in at the session) will receive a certificate of attendance after the event.

The MRC is also keen to collect further examples of research studies that pose challenges with respect to potential health-related findings.  If you have any such studies and are prepared to share them, the MRC would be very grateful.  We would like to use anonymised versions of real studies, to help illustrate the Framework further and provide practical examples of its implementation.
