This exciting, practical one day workshop will look at what FASD is; how it impacts on not only the affected individual but the family, carers and professionals around them; the reality of the implications for education, for healthcare and for social work practice.

This day will be of real benefit to anyone working in paediatrics, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, nursing, social workers, teachers and other education / schools workers, early years, childcare and health visiting. Midwives, GPs and those working in the fields of psychiatry and psychology would also gain value from this workshop.
