Three day workshop

The workshop is designed to be a “ground-floor” introduction to Bayesian methods and assumes no prior knowledge. As such it is intended for anyone who would like to try Bayesian analysis with their own data, or just to understand Bayesian statistics a bit better. Applied statisticians, epidemiologists, scientists (basic, clinical and social) whose work primarily involves analysing data and other scientists for whom data analysis is important, but is not the major component of their research, should all find the workshop accessible. Nor is any specific knowledge of any particular clinical or academic discipline a prerequisite for the workshop.

There is a good description of the workshop on John’s website and you can also download the sample of the kindle version of the book on which the workshop is based to get a flavour of the level of the content.
