Successful change agents are able to adapt to changing circumstances and to bring their teams with them. This requires sound judgement, decision-making skills in an uncertain environment, personal resilience and an ability to understand and support others at different stages of change. This session will equip you with tools to manage change such as Kotter’s steps and the transition curve, as well as looking at how culture underpins our behaviour and breaking down some of the associated trends and behaviours that we come across regularly in culture rich organisations, such as those in the health and social care sector.

The training is suitable for anyone working in health and social care including NHS England team members, CCG staff, PCN leaders and managers, practice teams and other primary care colleagues. It is particularly useful for those who are leading and involved in managing change in organisations and across the system.

Outcomes include:

An increase in knowledge of change models and theory and how to apply to real time work experiences and challenges
A greater understanding of the need to consider organisational culture during times of change
An opportunity to share challenges and experiences and learn from one another in a safe and stimulating environment.
The training is delivered in a coaching style by an experienced trainer and facilitator with a background in primary care.
