Timed to focus on the progress of the Welsh Government's Cancer Delivery Plan, delegates at this seminar will analyse the progress that has been made so far in meeting the challenges set out in the plan - including Local Health Boards producing their own delivery plans, patients rating care experiences and reducing the gap in the incidence of cancer between the most and least deprived communities - as well as considering the findings of the first annual report on the effectiveness of cancer care.

The seminar will bring together key policymakers with social and healthcare leaders, wider NHS staff, health professionals, pharmacies, patient groups, charities, interested businesses and commentators to discuss what can be done to improve prevention, treatment, patient experience and outcomes and end of life care. Further sessions will also discuss measures for patients to rate their own care experience and feedback into the delivery process.
