This is a free, one day event to discuss evidence from an NIHR funded research project looking at the impact and quality of children’s community services. Fiona Smith of the Royal College of Nursing will Chair the event.

The research looked at secondary care, costs and quality outcomes for four innovative health communities who have introduced or expanded their children's community health provision. The results of this study will help to develop the best practice in this area. A new tool to aid decision-making will be introduced.

Come and join us: NHS commissioners, managers, practitioners and parents will gather to discuss the evidence and develop best practice.

Speakers: Dr Jane Cummings (NHS Commissioning Board), Dr Ingrid Wolfe (BACAPH), Dr Helen Duncan (CHIMAT).
