Virtual Consultations– the patient perspective
Almost overnight the concept of the virtual consultation moved from a set of pilots, mainly in primary care, to the principle way of managing all out of hospital clinician/patient interactions. As part of the national effort to review and reset practice, approaches to virtual consultations and their impact have been in the spotlight, with studies being led by the Nuffield Trust and the Health Foundation amongst others.
