About NHS Networks ...
Welcome

NHS Networks is where clinicians, managers, leaders, innovators, Board members, policy makers, as well as patients and communities can all contribute to - and learn from - new thinking and new practice.

Editorial

This could have been the last New@Networks, however, we are really pleased that from next week NHS Networks will operate as part of NHS PCC. Networks' resources will continue to be freely available at www.networks.nhs.uk. NHS PCC works in partnership with PCTs to help them become world class commissioners of primary care and supports the detailed delivery of the National NHS Commissioning Agenda.

This will be good news for the many people who were keen to see the resources and function of NHS Network maintained. Helen Northall, the Director of NHS PCC, is committed to maintaining NHS Networks to ensure it is a highly relevant, useful and dynamic resource for the NHS. The website, register of networks and our support to forming and existing networks will continue. Krishna Patel and Jass Tatter will continue to work with NHS PCC over the next 6 months to do this and ensure a smooth transfer.

The next edition of New@Networks will be issued from NHS PCC. NHS PCC will not be making immediate changes but will make improvements to the Newsletter over time in line with our original plans. We believe that pooling resources across the two organisations will enable us to inform an even wider range of people to make connections across the NHS and beyond.

Edna, Krish, Jass and Felicity want to thank you for your support of NHS Networks over the last four years and look forward to working with you in the future.

Felicity Cox

The next New@Networks will be sent out on 6 November.
