An ideal opportunity to promote Active & Sustainable Travel within your NHS Organisation. also to:- *A sustainability awareness day held on the date. *Pledges to change actions to become more sustainable. *Publicised site based initiatives in advance of the event. *Non clinical and clinical actions on the day so that all aspects of healthcare delivery are considered from all stakeholders. *Initiatives focussed on clinical practise/local sourcing of food/low carbon menus/procurement/travel/walk to work day etc.

An ideal opportunity to promote Active & Sustainable Travel within your NHS Organisation.

Suggested cycle related activities;

* Hold a Dr Bike - invite a local cycle retailer to visit your site and possible give a free Health check on your employees Bicycle's ready for Spring and the coming Easter Holidays.

* Invite the Local Police to security mark employee’s cycles, usually given free of charge.

* Invite your local CTC Rep or Sustrans Ranger or Cycle Campaign group to your site to set up a stall to help promote cycling within your area.
