Breathe Easy Week 2012 runs from Mon 18 June to Sun 24 June. To help you find the British Lung Foundation's Breathe Easy groups they have a new interactive feature on their website.
There are more than 230 Breathe Easy groups across the length and breadth of Britain, so you should be able to find one near you wherever you live.Every group is different and the activities each one organises depends on what its members want and enjoy.
Groups typically meet once a month and members arrange all kinds of things for their meetings, from talks on local patient services and advice from health care professionals, to arts and crafts and trips to the theatre or the seaside.
Breathe Easy groups are run by BLF members, with help and support from the BLF regional teams when it’s needed.
The theme for Breathe Easy Week 2012 is asbestos-related disease. It aims to raise awareness of the risks associated with exposure to asbestos dust and the lung diseases it can cause.
