DH consultation
On 4 March Secretary of State launched a national consultation to seek views from members of the public, NHS staff and from healthcare professionals on a set of proposals to give people a greater choice of GP practice.
The plans would mean that people could register with a practice that best suits their needs, whether it is one near their workplace or simply a different practice near their home that offers better services and longer opening hours.
