Updated data showing the numbers of people receiving continuing healthcare in the first quarter of 2012/13 is available.
The national framework for NHS continuing healthcare and NHS-funded nursing care was introduced in 2007. The framework provides the numbers of individuals in receipt of NHS continuing healthcare on a quarterly basis since 2009. It was revised in 2009 in line with a commitment to review the national framework within 12 months of its publication.
The revised framework clarifies and supports consistency in the determination of eligibility for NHS continuing healthcare and NHS funded nursing care. More …..
