Cardiovascular disease outcomes strategy survey

Wednesday, 8 August 2012

The Department of Health is looking for responses to an informal survey into ideas for the government’s new cardiovascular disease outcomes strategy.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the biggest cause of death in England and stroke is the biggest cause of disability. While great progress has been made in terms of mortality reductions in recent years, an ageing population and the increase in obesity mean that these gains may be lost without further action.

This is your opportunity to contribute to the consultation process and help improve cardiovascular disease outcomes.
