Expert Patients Programme CIC interactive awareness workshops
Free workshops in Oxford and Isle of Wight
These free interactive awareness workshops are for health and social care practitioners to increase awareness of the benefits of self-management and to show how you can effectively support and promote self-management with patients and service users.
In order for people with long-term conditions to take a more active role in their health, they need self-management skills and easier access to information about their conditions. They also need skilled support and motivation from health professionals so they can work in partnership to achieve lasting improvements in their health status.
The workshops will be facilitated by two trainers/trained tutors who are able to model self-management competencies and will be delivered using methods and processes common to the course which is delivered to participants who are living with a long-term health condition.
Details for both workshop dates and times are below. Lunch will be provided on each day
