Information The Division of Counselling Psychologists Wales (DCoPW) was set up October 2000 - as the Wales Network of Counselling Psychology (WNCoP) - to represent counselling psychologists in Wales. The Network has a seat on the Clinical Psychology Advisory Subcommittee of the Welsh Medical Committee, and as such has a say in discussions relating to Psychological issues within the NHS in Wales. The WNCoP has a commitment to developing the profession of counselling psychology in Wales and is involved in various committees and consultations at national and UK levels.The Network meets four or five times a year and also organises training and CPD events and acts as an informative meeting place for both qualified and trainee Counselling Psychologists. The Network is open to all qualified and training Counselling Psychologists and others with an interest and empathy in Counselling Psychology. Please note that only members of the BPS can apply for membership with the WNCOP. |
