SUS-PbR Extended User Assurance Group
Aim: to support the further development of SUS PbR (Secondary Uses Service, Payment by Results) functionality to meet the requirements of NHS users and the DH. This is an online extension to the SUS-PbR User Assurance Group, to allow a wider audience for discussion and sharing of information.
The role of the Group is to support the further development of SUS PbR functionality to meet the requirements of NHS users and the DH, so that SUS is fully acknowledged by the NHS as the definitive source of PbR information to meet the requirements of:
-
Commissioners and Providers;
-
Information, finance and commissioning staff.
The Group's main responsibilities will be:
-
To act as the body through which views of the wider user community can be taken into account in the development of SUS payment by results functionality.
-
To provide an effective channel for the SUS Programme Board to liaise with existing User Assurance Testing pilot sites and enable the SUS Programme Board to act on their behalf.
