Connecting to the Future
This site provides a forum for reflecting upon the opportunities that exist as part of the transformation potential of ICT in the interests of the safety and the quality of care that is provided for communities and for individual service users.
This network offers us an opportunity to build a community of practice in the lead-up to and following the 'e-Health Connections Nursing Workshop: Connecting to the Future' on 6 February, 2007. This initiative, part of a partnership between the Royal College of Nursing and Connecting for Health, considers the ways in which e-Health will both shape and be shaped by new technologies and the ways in which technology will support and, perhaps, define nursing and other healthcare professions.
Please do participate in the group by contributing to discussions and posing questions and comments and by sharing your stories and any documents of interest, both before and after the day. In this way we can share our learning and experiences for the benefit of all.
