Primary Care College (Teaching PCT Network for County Durham and Tees Valley)
The Primary Care College is a network between the Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in County Durham and Tees Valley, and its local education partners. The College is afiliated to the National Teaching PCTs Network. Our key areas of work are:

Managing Transition and Stress Management
Events and workbooks to support managers who continue to lead teams in a time of change, and individuals whose careers are changing.-

Learning Teams for the Future (LTFF)
Workbook and checklist to ensure primary care teams can build their capacity to learn, and at the same time assure NHS core standards. -
Immunisations and Vaccinations (I&V)
Patch-wide learning to train trainers in I&V, and also refresh the learning of those who administer vaccines. -
Recruitment and Retention
Activities to attract and value the NHS workforce. -
Mentoring
Building capacity in mentoring to support staff at work. -
Teaching PCT Networking
Keeping in touch with other tPCTs, and contributing to the Northern and National networks in sharing tPCT innovation.
