Greater Midlands Cancer Network
The Greater Midlands Cancer Network was formed from the merger of the Black Country Cancer Network and the North West Midlands Cancer Network.
The network is first and foremost a set of relationships and services that underpin cancer patients' journey through the National Health Service within the Greater Midlands. The network covers all services for patients with suspected or diagnosed cancer, and also services for cancer prevention, screening/risk management, and research.
The principle objective of the Network is to deliver the National Cancer Plan in the Greater Midlands. Specifically, the Network has a programme of service development for all aspects of cancer prevention, screening/risk-management, diagnosis, treatment, genetics, research, supportive care and specialist palliative care.
