Bringing together Modern Matrons in Mental Health to provide greater support for a diverse group of practitioners.
"I am setting up this new network having found no mental health Matrons out there to converse with. I am a Matron with responsibility throughout a Locality, which includes an Acute inpatient ward, CRHT and also link into our community services. Would like to bring together people to discuss a variety of issues, e.g. audit, enhancing performance, maintaining standards etc. Also, my role is purely governance with no line management responsibilities which I try to stick to. This has huge benefits in terms of focussing my work, but can bring about difficulties in implementing strategies."
