Greater Manchester Directors of Commissioning
The Greater Manchester Directors of Commissioning (DoCs) acts as a part of the Association of Greater Manchester PCTs; to co-ordinate and support commissioning within the PCTs, and to help develop staff in PCT commissioning functions.
The Greater Manchester DoCs has a number of workstreams. These include Contracting (developing a Greater Manchester standard SLA with Heads of Terms), Commissioning Development, Effective use of Resources (with Directors of Public Health), and Practice based Commissioning.
