West of Scotland Cancer Network (WoSCAN)
The West of Scotland Cancer Managed Clinical Networks are linked groups of health professionals and organisations from primary, secondary and tertiary care, working in a co-ordinated manner, unconstrained by existing professional and Health Board boundaries, to ensure equitable provision of high quality clinically effective services throughout the West of Scotland.
conference: NHS Cancer Services - Are we meeting the mark?
29 February and 1 March 2008, Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh
The conference will feature a mix of speakers, poster presentations and plenary sessions. A range of topics will be discussed including evidence based practice, innovation in cancer education and service delivery. The aims of the conference include:

Encourage debate and challenging our current ways of thinking

Reflection/consideration of our own contributions
The attached flier includes a programme, booking form and abstract submission form. Abstracts of oral or poster presentations on evidence based practice, innovations and service delivery or cancer education should be submitted by 30 November 2007.
