Teaching PCTs National Network

The Teaching PCTs have established a network with the aim of putting and keeping Teaching PCT issues on the agenda in national policy making.  The policy behind Teaching PCTs was published by the Department of Health in 2001.  They have recently sent out an update letter about the naming of Teaching PCTs after the 2006 reconfiguration.

There are separate pages for the Cheshire and Merseyside Teaching PCT Collaborative, the County Durham and Tees Valley tPCT Network (the Primary Care College) and the London Teaching PCTs Network.

Minutes and notes from Teaching PCTs Network meetings are listed on  this page. Annual reports and other useful documents are on this page.

Funding
The Teaching PCTs Network steering group sent out a letter at the beginning of May 2006 informing the Teaching PCTs of funding awarded by the Department of Health. The funding is the result of liaison over a number of months between the steering group and the Department.
