Provider Network

The Provider Network was set up following the joint CSIP and NHS Networks event called Making Partnerships Work in Health and Local Government which took place on 14 February 2008 in London. During the event it became apparent that many people were grappling with the new role for PCT providers and it was suggested by several attendees that a network dealing with this topic would be beneficial.

The network gives a great opportunity to hear and discuss updates on current DH policies around Community Provider Development and its' Commissioning. Members of the network are able to take the opportunity to share their local successes and challenges they are facing as providers or as commissioners of community provision. The Department of Health is very keen to work with the network to share information and best practice.

For information about the network or if you would like to become a member please contact Krishna Patel.
