Scottish Stroke Nurses Forum (SSNF)
The Scottish Stroke Nurses Forum (SSNF) is for registered nurses with an interest in stroke (events/conferences are open to other health professionals).
Aims of Forum

To promote the essential role of nurses in stroke.

To share and develop knowledge, expertise and best practice.

To incorporate research-based evidence into practice, and promote research to improve outcomes.

To help develop core competencies, education and training initiatives for stroke nurses.

To advise and influence the provision of stroke nursing services, which impinge on patient care and carers at local and national level.
The SSNF Knowledge Exchange has been established for SSNF members to share discussions, documents, information on projects, journal articles, resources and web pages. The Knowledge Exchange is restricted to SSNF members only.
There is no charge for membership. To become a member complete the membership request form available on the website and return to the SSNF Secretary (details below). You will then placed on the membership database, receive regular mailings and appear in the directory details. Members are required to update the directory details regularly to renew their membership.
