Children's Workforce Network

An alliance committed to creating and supporting a world-class children's workforce in England.

The Children's Workforce Network (CWN) is a strategic body, bringing together the relevant sector skills bodies, workforce reform and regulatory agencies. It is a voluntary grouping of independent partners who recognise that collaboration will help them to achieve the more effective implementation of their individual and joint roles in a major programme of change.  CWN core members include Skills for Health and Nursing & Midwifery Council (representing the health regulators).

The Network's vision is a children's workforce that:

Organisations with an interest in developing the children and young people's workforce are invited to apply to join the CWN National Reference Group. This is a virtual e-based group to share information and promote dialogue.  Members of the Reference Group receive a bimonthly E-Bulletin.
