The events are open to all aid workers and all those interested in humanitarian aid activities whether independent or with non-governmental organisations. This includes doctors and nurses of all specialities, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nutritionists, psychologists, sociologists, medical students, paramedics, engineers, communication specialists, logisticians, and all humanitarian personnel.
The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) is an independent, apolitical organisation, founded 200 years ago. It is one of the largest providers of continuing medical education in the UK and has more than fifty specialist sections.
