To provide a forum for the discussion of anaesthesia and related subjects.
History:
The oldest continuously functioning organisation of physicians actively interested in the practice of Anaesthesia, the Society of Anaesthetists, formed in 1892-93, joined the Royal Society of Medicine in 1908 and eventually become the Anaesthesia Section.
