Human bodies: donation for medicine and research
This report sets out guidance to help people consider the ethical acceptibility of various ways of encouraging people to donate, both for treatment of others and for scientific research.
It calls for a national or regional donor service to be set-up to improve co-ordination of egg and sperm donation for fertility treatment. It also includes recommendations about the use of tissue in research and volunteering for clinical trials. More ….
