Have your say on quality standards
Patient organisations and those representing health and social care professionals have just one week left to comment on the development of a library of healthcare topics, which will decide new quality standards.
Providers and commissioners of health services, companies that manufacture medicines or devices, statutory organisations like the Department of Health, and research organisations that have done nationally recognised research are also invited to take part in the engagement exercise.
NICE quality standards are a set of specific, concise statements and measures that act as markers of high-quality, clinical and cost-effective patient care across a pathway or clinical area, covering treatment or prevention.
The standards apply across England and are developed from the best available evidence, such as NICE guidance or other evidence sources accredited by NHS Evidence.
