Information A four-nation UK network of primary care professionals and staffs with an interest in delivery of excellent primary mental health care. Primhe was founded as a charity in 2001 and now has over 2500 supporters.We publish a quarterly free Journal (web-enabled for free thanks to a grant from NIMHE SWest)and also run a website www.primhe.org The charity is affiliated to the RCGP, a member of the Alliance of Primary Care Societies and a founding funder of the P-CNS (Primary Care Neurology Society). We have set up a Consultancy-Facilitation Board to assist practices and PCTs to get a grip on Practice-Based Commissioning, New Ways of Working in Mental Health and delivering the latest White Paper. The charity works very closely with the Changing Minds Education and Development Centre in Northampton, where a Section64-funded Project Manager is involved with a patient-developed and delivered education programme, based on recovery principles.
