Default Cardiac Rehab for Angina Patients

Hi
Does anyone have job descriptions and/or business cases for cardiac rehab focusing on angina in primary care. I am looking at the role of the specialist nurse and also, cardiac nurses/health care assistants/physio etc. As part of this I need to pull together a business case/service specification.

Thanks

Default angina management in primary care

Hi Ann,
yes is hte answer to your question.
I spoke to an excellent chap Prof mike Chester, who has done a lot of working looking at Angina management programmes and has developed a programme which he has 'sold' to lots of PCTs.
Email me at debra.sprague@nhs.net and I'll send you all the info I've got (including a successful business case put forward in Canbridge to start this programme).
Regards
Debra
