Hi, I am a lecturer at East Lancashire Institute of Higher Education at Blackburn. I am excited that we are starting a new, pioneering foundation degree for Health Trainers this September. (Foundation degrees are studied one day a week over two years, so you can still work. Study is at level 4 and 5 and an additional year can be taken at a later date to gain a full Batchelors degree) If you or any of your colleagues are interested in developing your practical and research skills post-NVQ I will be glad to chat with you!! We are also starting a Foundation degree in Complementary Medicine September 2009 which will give you many diplomas such as reflexology, aromatherapy and will explore the exciting new inititaves of integrated health care!!
