Default Charity Cycle rides 2010

Dear All,
Just been sent this, never done a ride with this Charity but of the 7,000 who have, surely one or two came from the NHS?

Not Quite Cycle to Work, but it is all to do with Cycling,
Regards
Alex

"Action Medical Research are the leading cycle event's charity in the UK and next year we will have over seven thousand cyclists joining us of our Take Action rides in 2010.

We have two main types of event taking place next year;

Take Action 100-mile series
These are individual challenges where our riders ride 100 miles in one day. We have 17 rides taking place all over the UK; these are fantastic, fully signed rides, we provide food and drink along the whole route and you are welcomed home with a medal and goody bag. It's only £25 to registered then you commit to raising at least £25 for Action Medical Research.
For more information, and to find your nearest 1000-mile ride, visit; http://www.action.org.uk/100

Ride 24 - 19/20 June 2010
This is a 24-hour team relay race around Dunsfold Track, Surrey. Starting at noon on Saturday, riders will take it in turns to relay around the track until 12noon Sunday 20th June - the team that have completed the most laps in that 24-hour period win the much coveted Winner's trophy. This is a really exciting team challenge that tests your strength, stamina and team spirit. Registration is £240 per team and each team commits to raising at least £1,000.
