Default cycle parking

Brighton & Hove City PCT have just had 3 shelters, 19 stands, 9 lockers and a bolted down track pump installed - top that!

A great success for cyclists

Default I am so envious - and you beat Man City

Deeply envious of your cycle provision. How did you get the money? Who did you persuade? Here at Trafford PCT I have spent 12 months achieving nothing, just empty promises. Meanwhile the Director of Public Health approves staff to get free Weight Watcher sessions to which they no doubt drove.

Default Campaigning

Hi Vincent,

Another avenue to try is get in touch with the Greater Manchester Cycling Campaign http://www.gmcc.org.uk/main/

I would think they will be happy to hear from a fellow cyclist at your trust, plus they may have other contacts for you. They maybe able to provide help & support in promoting the advantages of improving cycle facilities at your NHS work place.

If you require any other help get in touch, i will try my best.

Regards
Alex

Default Cycle stands Now installed

Please to announce 5 Cycle stands now installed, despite one slight over sight, We forgot to put up a Cycle Parking Notice.

The area looks good and to any seasoned cyclist they would recongnise Sheffield stands. But to a Novice as pointed out by a friend today they look like fancy Bollards.

Funny how you can over look something so simple.

Alex

Ps have my ticket booked for the Streets ahead cycling Conference in November hopefully see some of you there.

Default Congratulations!

Good to hear of your success getting the stands installed.

We're having another shelter installed in an area that currently has no provision at all for cyclists, which is good news.

Default Two New Cantilever Cycle stands :^)

Just like to report last months successful installation of Two Cantilever Cycle shelters at our trust, a combination of 12 months hard work and the co-operation of three departments made this possible.

Each stand provides shelter for 8 cycles will see if i can download a photo, for those interested.

Regards

Alex

Default Stands

A picture of the cantilever stands would be interesting. We have a big construction company on site and one of our training groups provided First Aid training to some of their staff so they are providing us with a cycle rack to show their gratitude.
