Looking for evidence based info on patient education leaflets
Up to General discussion
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has any good advice on patient education leaflets. I am producing one for mental health service users on ensuring they are aware of all the access points and their rights of involvement.
Cheers
Steve
Hi Steve,
Check out the stroke improvement web site. I was involved in developing the patient info pack. It may be useful as we looked at info packs across uk and came up with this as a result. if you need any more info just let me know.

Also look at Pateint information Forum for advice:
And the DH's own "Information Standard" -though info on this now seems to be archived so I'm not sure if the DH still supports it:

Also, talk to your Trust Library Services Manager who is likely to be able to help.

The Information Standard is very much alive see http://www.theinformationstandard.org/
Try patient .co.uk very good for patient education support groups etc
There are some great patient leaflets at the royal college of psychiatrists website...
