Choice Case Studies Database

Introduction

In early 2007, NHS Networks was asked to help the Department of Health Choice team by gathering good examples of ‘choice’ in four areas: mental health, long term conditions, cancer and end of life care.

A call for suitable case studies went out to members of selected networks and interest groups and we had an excellent response. The case studies collected were supplied to the DH who were able to select certain ones for use in a Choice Framework in Summer 2007.

NHS Networks’ remit is to share information and good practice so, with the appropriate permissions, we created this database of examples of Choice from the case studies received.
